Homecoming Scotland 2009 is a comprehensive programme of Scottish events and festivals in 2009 celebrating Scotland’s great contributions to the world, in particular the 250th anniversary of the birth of the great poet, the national bard of Scotland Robert Burns.  Programmes of Homecoming Scotland events are planned throughout Scotland, beginning in Ayrshire on 23rd January and extending right through to St Andrews Day on 30th November. The Gathering 2009 Event 25th & 26th July 2009
