What’s on offer?

Breakfast
Breakfast, like dinner, is served in the restaurant. A self service course of cereal, fruit and fruit juices is followed by a range of options described as “continental”, “continental plus”, “full Scottish” or “vegetarian”. There are also three fish choices: kippers, salmon or haddock. Toast is a do-it-yourself affair using one of those toasters that always seem to get hotel guests talking to one another in the morning

“Our breakfasts came on piping hot plates guaranteed to keep them hot for as long as needed and were excellent. An order of bacon and scrambled eggs came with perfectly cooked scrambled eggs, while the full Scottish came with some of the nicest and best prepared haggis we have tasted in a long time. Meanwhile, the quality and the care in the preparation of all the other ingredients was equally obvious”

A mixture of fine Scottish and international dishes are available in Simpsons Restaurant every evening. All dishes are prepared and cooked to order using the finest fresh local produce! Our aim is to provide creative, yet simple, wholesome and uncomplicated dishes
